5-Step | 5-Minute Application Education
LOVER cosmetics launched in October 21, 2006 in the Crossroads/Art district of Kansas City. The French-inspired makeup line included a handful of eye shadows, a few blushes, a mere four lip glosses and a few brushes.
After hundreds of makeovers, home parties and trade shows, LOVER cosmetics listened to its customers. Founder Ashley re-launched the line in May 2009 in response to the two things heard over and over from women of all ages:
1. I don't know how to apply makeup.
2. I don't have time to apply makeup.
LOVER responded with:
1. Simple Beauty – The Face Kit
2. Application Education
LOVER reached back to its original business plan and dedication to simple beauty. LOVER's new compacts and face kits are designed after LOVER's 5-Step | 5-Minute makeup regime. The face kits cater to the busy woman – and what woman isn't busy. The leather bag encases the customer's custom-designed compact. To finish the look, a brush set, foundation stix, mascara and lip gloss are included. Finally, a 5-Step | 5-Minute how-to-guide shows how to use the brush set to apply a beautiful look every day.
